Welcome back, Americans. Come along with me as we dig into the deep and scandalous lives of US politicians and cases. On today's episode, we need to go over ICE'S Inhumane raids and how they're handling citizens in today's society.
When we take a look at these ICE raids, we can obviously see that some of these are inhumane and immoral actions towards people. However, unfortunately under the law, ice raids are 100% legal. Nevertheless, there is still a certain way these raids should be orchestrated. Number 1, it is unquestionably illegal to drag people out of vehicles and smash windows without a warrant. Number 2, it is ALSO unquestionably illegal to engage in physical altercations in the streets without prior restraint.
However, does our president really care about that? Let's take a look. Unfortunately, President Trump has defended these violent ICE RAIDS, by calling these individuals affected, "really bad criminals" and stating that he thinks, they "haven't done enough" in reference to these raids.
When addressing the ICE raids in Minnesota, the President has explicitly communicated that he has no effort to stop these ice raids. He has explicitly directed ice to focus its operations on Democratic run "sanctuary cities" as President Trump has argued that these areas have high crime rates and that his administration is "taking them out by thousands"
However, when respond to backlash, President Trump takes a very different stance when responding. He states that "we feel terribly" when the agents are "too rough" Now, it's no surprise that Trump is trying to maneuver through this backlash by taking this stance, and tying handling immigration to crime and comparing immigrants to violent gangs, like MS-13, and Sur 13, and Latin Kings.
My personal stance? While there are some immigrants who are apart of these gangs and commit these violent crimes, that doesn't mean ANY person of color or ANY immigrant is part of a violent gang.
Immigrants make America. This isn't even an opinion, it's just a fact. America is so diverse and so various, and that is because of immigrants coming to America.
Immigrants make America.
